Gray Squirrel Control
- Gray Squirrel removal? Grays Squirrels are the most destructive of the three squirrel species in CT and RI. Gray Squirrels chew entry points in gable vents, soffets, and facia corners to gain access. Once in the building, they usually go in the attic or wall, where warmth and insulation makes for suitable habitat to nest and raise young. animal noises in the attic. noises in the wall. animals in the wall. animals in the attic. wildlife in the attic. wildlife in the wall.
Gray Squirrels will also use chimneys, especially dormant chimneys, to nest. Sometimes squirrels will get into a chimney, but due to the smooth tiles, won’t be able to climb out. The result is an animal making clawing, scrambling noises above the damper. If within a few days the animal is not removed, it will die in the chimney.

Red Squirrel Control
- Red Squirrels in the attic? Though not quite as destructive as the gray squirrel, Red Squirrels have an uncanny ability to find the most inaccessible entry points and nesting areas in a building. Red squirrels thrive in areas where there are a lot of evergreen trees (called Pine Squirrels in some of the northern states). Although red squirrels sometimes use the same areas to access a building as the gray squirrel, most often red squirrels pick an old home of 150-200 yrs. Red squirrels gain access at the ground level, through stone foundations and old rotten wood near the sill. Reds squirrels are a challenge to catch, and even more of a challenge to keep out.Squirrels chewing the wires. Squirrel damage. Squirrel in the wall. Noise in the attic. How to remove squirrel

Flying Squirrel Control
- Flying Squirrels in the soffets/eaves? Flyers are the most docile of the three, and in my opinion, the cutest of them all. Nocturnal in nature, flying squirrels colonize from three to a few dozen animals. Flying squirrels are not so destructive as gray squirrels or red squirrels, and tend to use existing entry points when available. Flying squirrels do however use latrines or toilet areas, which is a sign we look for when inspecting for them. These latrines will sometimes leak through a ceiling and cause staining, which resembles pine pitch or tar like consistency.

Chipmunk removal is sometimes necessary on landscaped lawns and gardens. Recognized by the stripes on their backs and the way they hold their tails straight up when they run. Chipmunks burrow into the mulch and especially like to live in stone walls. The burrows are usually free of any surrounding dirt, and 1.5" - 2" in diameter. They have three litters of young per year, with each litter yeilding five juveniles. Chipmunks are a seed and nut eating ground squirrel and will readily feed at your bird feeders.
