- (Eastern Mole and Starnose Mole) Subterranean rodents that eat worms, grubs and the like, also cause damage to lawns from the constant tunneling that they do. If you have raised trails throughout your yard, along sidewalks and foundation and the yard feels like a sponge, you can blame a mole. These animals can be trapped and removed.

Facts: 

• Moles are territorial except during the breeding season.
• Moles can dig 18-20 feet per day.
